easter 2009

since our family is LARGE and all of our houses are SMALL we always opt for a public area for our egg hunt. so for several years now, a neighborhood elementry school has been the location of choice. its close by, never in use on easter sunday, has all of our required aminities and is super cute for picture taking. however, the weather did not want to cooperate with us this easter. it was a little muddy out, so we had to settle for the playground area to hunt eggs instead of the park area. since its covered in rubber shreds no little feet ever have to touch mud. it worked out GREAT! except some of the little kids were easily distracted they could not focus on the task at hand . . . hunt the eggs! they saw those slides and swings and there you go.

if you look in the background. . . you can see david doing some sort of victory dance. i'm not sure for what??? they eggs were PRETTY easy to find.
